How it works
  • Often, it is necessary to lend exhibition stands, roll-ups, event materials, etc., to employees who use them at events and only need them for a few days. Often, several of these items are kept in stock and should then be reserved and ordered via a booking calendar.
     
  • Certain blocked days, weekends, and pre-/post-return times need to be considered when booking the rental items.
     
  • In the article itself, a “rental item” notice is displayed. When the customer selects this item, they see all the key details of the item in the price box in the detail view. Here, the customer is prompted to enter the date of their event (start and end) or to select a date using a date chooser.
     
  • In the booking calendar, all days that are available at that time are shown in green—i.e., for which there is no booking (including buffer times). If the customer changes the date, the item availability is recalculated. The user then selects the desired quantity (if allowed) and adds the item to the cart.
     
  • Changing the quantity also triggers a recalculation of the available time period—the slot with enough free items in the required quantity is always sought.
     
  • Ordering rental items is possible simultaneously with purchase items.

SUPPLY CHAIN ACT - WHAT IS IT ACTUALLY ABOUT?

The Supply Chain Act enshrines the duty of care towards employees and the environment. The law obliges companies to check the extent to which human rights and environmental protection are being violated within their supply chains.

We have incorporated these guidelines into our compliance and taken measures to prevent incidents. At the same time, we have introduced a complaints mechanism for those affected.


RESPONSIBILITY AND TRANSPARENCY

We take responsibility - and not just since the new Supply Chain Act. We want to ensure compliance with basic human rights and environmental protection standards through regular audits of our partners.

In future, we want to make the origin and manufacture of all products traceable for you at every stage of production. We are working on this.

How the rental module works

From selection to collection – this is how the booking and handling of rental items works in the shop.

 
 
 
 
 

FIRST

Select rental items

Customers can select rental items directly in the shop and book them for a specific period of use. Mixed orders with purchase items are possible.

SECOND

Enter rental period in the calendar

The desired rental period is entered directly in the online calendar. Availability is checked automatically.

 
 
 
 

THIRD

Buffer times are considered automatically

To ensure smooth transport, the system automatically blocks 2 days before and 2 days after the booked period. Sundays and public holidays are also recognized and taken into account.

FOURTH

Order is confirmed

Once the booking is completed, the customer receives an order confirmation. At the same time, the order is transferred to the warehouse at an early stage.

 
 
 
 

FIFTH

Warehouse plans and schedules shipment

The warehouse schedules the shipment for the required date. Once the shipping date is reached, the goods are dispatched by freight carrier or courier with scheduled delivery.

SIXTH

Shipping confirmation and delivery

The customer receives a shipping confirmation. The goods are then delivered to the customer on the planned date.

 
 
 
 

SEVENTH

Collection at the defined time

After the usage period ends, the goods are collected from the customer at the defined time.

EIGHTH

Inspection, restocking and shipping costs

After collection, the goods are inspected in the warehouse and returned to stock. Shipping costs can either be defined in advance or billed separately afterwards.
